GOLD STANDARD FORENSIC ALS TECHNOLOGY

A unique light source providing low angle surface illumination

Crime-lite® 82L PRO

Detect more evidence using Crime-lite 82L PRO light sources, a powerful upgrade to best in class forensic search tools trusted by forensic examiners worldwide.

DetectMoreEvidence

Crime-lite 82S PRO light sources deliver the high intensity narrow bandwidth illumination needed to detect evidence at scenes, in laboratories and in clinical forensic work.

High-intensity, low-angle illumination for Crime Scene Applications

The Crime-lite 82L PRO is a high-intensity narrowband forensic light source, available in both white and UV wavelengths. Together with our latest PRO VISION evidence viewing and imaging accessories, these unique devices are fine-tuned to increase evidence yields at the crime-scene and optimise the visualisation and photography of evidence.

Available Wavelengths:

  • White 400-700nm
  • UV 350-380nm

Applications

The linear white light beam of the Crime-lite 82L PRO has been designed and developed to excel in the following applications:

  • Prolonged floor searches at the crime scene
  • Detection of surface debris and shoe prints
  • General contrast search when used with clip-on filters

White light applications include:

BLOOD STAINS BLOOD SPATTER BODY BRUISING BITE MARKS FIBRES GENERAL MIXED DEBRIS

In addition to the above, UV applications also include:

BODY FLUIDS BONE & TOOTH FRAGMENTS HAIR SOME DRUG RESIDUES FINGERPRINT TREATMENTS

The Gold Standard in Quality

Unlike other light sources, the Crime-lite 82L PRO cuts no corners and makes no compromise, using the highest quality components to ensure the highest quality of results, increasing evidence yields and providing superior visibility for the examination and photography of evidence.

Building on a decade of dependability

With thousands of devices currently in the hands of forensic professionals, Crime-lite 82S and 82L Forensic Alternate Light Sources are recognized the world over for their powerful performance and robust construction.

Trusted by experts, the Crime-lite 82S and 82L have long been the choice of those searching for or examining body fluids or other traces of DNA; latent, powdered and chemically processed fingermarks; narcotics and illicit substances; explosives, accelerants, and gunshot residues (GSR); glass fragments; soil; fibres; and other traces of evidence that are difficult or impossible to detect with the human eye.

Goggles and Lens Filters:
Never Miss a Trace

Lightweight, interchangeable, and with anti-glare functionality, PRO VISION Viewing Goggles and Lens Filters provide a simple but effective upgrade to existing fluorescence viewing filters. Included with each of our Crime-lite 82S PRO kits, this significant upgrade will help examiners to detect more evidence through improved Fluorescence Contrast Examination.

PRO VISION PERFORMANCE

Crime-lite PRO VISION evidence viewing goggles and camera lens filters are designed with the single purpose of maximising the visibility of evidence for improved detection and photography under high-intensity illumination. All PRO VISION goggles and lenses include an anti-glare dichroic coating to prevent auto-fluorescence whilst reflecting Crime-lite illumination back onto the subject being examined.

PRO VISION CONVENIENCE

PRO VISION viewing lenses attach (via magnets) to a lightweight and comfortable goggle headset allowing the user to quickly switch between viewing wavebands on the fly. Using the magnetic quick-change lens system enables the examiner to switch between viewing wavebands quickly and easily, leading to a more efficient evidence search.

THE PRO VISION DIFFERENCE:

Crime-lite 82S PRO :
Unique Linear Illumination

Used and trusted by law enforcement, military, and clinical forensic examiners worldwide, Crime-lite 82S light sources can be relied upon to provide the high-intensity narrow bandwidth illumination required to detect even the smallest traces of forensic evidence.

Now, the Crime-lite 82S PRO range builds upon that time-proven technology, providing CSIs and forensic examiners with the illumination they need to Detect More Evidence.
